Interesting. When I wanted to do 10K gold a year ago, my caster said I wouldn't really see a price difference since it wasn't one of their standard alloys so I'd be ordering it in very small quantity. They said I'd only see a price break if I did a high volume of pieces in it.

Well, I can see that I guess because he would have had to special order versus use what he probably already had. But, normally, the price on 10kt has always seemed to me to be a good deal less expensive than 14. But that doesn't seem to be true any more.
