Handcrafted Fine Jewelry

Amali designer Sara Freedenfeld discovered her passion for making jewelry while backpacking through South America. Sara launched her company, Amali, in the spring of 2006, and has quickly become a favorite among celebrities. Most recently, Amali Jewelry adorned Tyra Banks on America's Next Top Model, and Tori Spelling on the cover of People Magazine. They are also proud to announce that Amali was selected by a prestigious group of industry leaders as a 2008 Rising Stars.

Amali Jewelry offers beautiful earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Each piece is handcrafted in Sara's Boston studio using mechanical connections to combine 18 karat gold chains and precious and semiprecious gemstones. Her designs are distinguishable by the intricately woven highly reflective chain used to create rich textures with a lot of movement.

In Valparaiso, Chile, Sara learned to combine natural elements with knotted strings to form intricate wearable art. Her design philosophy is centered around the importance of feeling deeply connected to everything she does. She enjoys the challenge of creating complex designs, and gets lost for hours trying to navigate a new design from vision to completion.

In Venezuela, Sara met an artist who taught her the how to link and mold metal.
