This is how she describes the workmanship that goes into her metal and gemstone creations: I use only the finest quality of organic material and genuine gemstones and I incorporate lapidary art in my work. It allows for more flexibility in my designs which feature unique freeform cabochons. I start out with designing a setting for the cabochon
. I use sterling silver sheet and wire in different gauges to form my designs--sometimes I use a new metal called Argentium® Sterling Silver. In some of my pieces I add 14k or 18k gold. I fabricate all my jewelry which means I cut the metal with a jeweler's saw, then I shape and hammer it. I solder the joints and pieces together to make up my design. All jewelry is stamped 925 for sterling silver and 14k or 18k for gold. After the jewelry is polished, I proudly sign each piece with my signature.
