In accessories, it's all about embellishments. You'll probably see the most flamboyant decorations on these pieces that usually make or break your outfit.
- Cocktail rings with large, colored gemstones. " The colored stones have taken a real jump," said Dana Flanders, owner of Crown Jewelers in Staunton. " People are liking color rather than just diamonds."
- Pearls are making a comeback, especially mixed with other stones.

- Semi-precious stones. " There's a lot of pop, a lot of pizzazz with them," Flanders said."
