Customize Your Wedding Jewelry

One of the issues that drives me crazy as a jewelry designer is when customers like a piece of jewelry I make but ask me to change one or two things about it. It's not that I don't think their ideas might be good, but first, it's not always possible to do what they ask. And, second, I may not always want to remake the piece.

But, the customer is always right, right?

Luckily for brides and grooms, the folks at Novell don't feel that way. Not only do they do custom orders, they encourage it. From their web site:

I recently commissioned a bridal necklace and earrings that I had "re-designed" several times before the bride decided it projected the look she had in mind. I just didn't permanently string it until the design was exactly what she wanted. In the end, she was VERY, VERY happy with her custom bridal jewelry! And it was absolutely stunning! Response from: Anne I totally understand what you are saying with certain things not being possible but you have ot remember that it is a very important day for those people and that piece of jewelry is going to be part of that moment. I feel that there are certain websites that allow you to customize your jewelry, but people do have to keep in mind that not everyone likes that. I know that Tiffany does it and for pearls i know that at PremiumPearl you can customize your jerwelry as well. I guess as a customer you do have to understand that some things are not possible but again it is your special day.
