Diamonds from Russia with Love

My imagination ran wild for a few moments when I read about an up-coming jewelry auction scheduled at Sotheby's. The diamond necklace to be auctioned " was probably commissioned by Catherine the Great." Can you imagine? I pictured a stately woman riding a gorgeous horse, her dark hair flowing down her back, and this necklace " with a row of 27 cushion
-shaped diamonds and a detachable bow clasp" adorning her regal neck.Let your own imagination loose for awhile, and read more about this piece of jewelry that may be auctioned off in November for as much as two million dollars: Sotheby's Says Russian Diamonds May Fetch $2 Million
