This design seems pretty simple:

heart pendant + silk cord + heart toggle + celebrity designer = popular trend.

I like this new " Enchanted Necklace" series designed by Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein. Maybe I've just been living under a rock, though, because I've never heard of her even though her press release calls her a " noted Positive Psychologist."

The development of this design is described as follows: " Her Enchanted Self concepts derive from research she did with women and from her private practice experiences. She uses what she has learned about human potential to help us recall positive memories, regardless of our history, recognize our unique talents, and bring into our lives more of what gives us pleasure and joy. This is all combined with daily positive actions."

I've always liked hearts, and I tend to enjoy wearing simple pieces like this because they are something you can wear pretty much every day. So, whatever she likes to describe them as and whoever this designer/shrink is, I give these necklaces a thumbs up.
