With his mind on the game and not on his extremely expensive jewelry and Rolex watch, Pittsburgh Steelers' running back Jerome Bettis, aka "The Bus," ended up misplacing his jewelry while playing at the Pontiac Silverdome:

"According to Pontiac police, once he was back in Pittsburgh, Bettis discovered he was without his $31,100 Rolex watch and a men's 9-inch, 18-carat gold bracelet "with 270 princess-cut diamonds," appraised at $35,950. The Steelers' football team stayed and practiced in Pontiac before the Big Game at Ford Field in Detroit."
