A designer can toil for a lifetime and never be accepted by a Fifth Avenue jewelry empire like Cartier or Tiffany & Co. A testament to his talent, Richard Palermo began his jewelry career with both of these iconic brands. Richard has been designing jewelry for more than 30 years, beginning as a fine arts and illustration major at New York City's School of Visual Arts. After graduating, he transitioned from student to professor, teaching design in NYC at the Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology.

This charmer's prong-set, oval Brazilian white quartz twinkles above a "secret" bloom of prong-set, pear-shaped Brazilian rhodolites. Rhodium-accented, round diamonds light bead settings in butterfly-shaped metalwork that adorns the table's four corners, while rhodium-accented, beaded scroll metalwork cascades across the stone arrangement and creates the ring's split shoulders.
