Don't forget about good old ebay this time of year when your jewelry gift shopping.

Originally though of as the on-line garage sale of the world, ebay has come a long way and now has store fronts for all kinds of businesses, from the mom and pop working at home to the larger retailers who've figured out it's a great way to get more customers.

And, yes, there are still some good bargains there, but more so, ebay is just so darn big that you can find a huge assortment of jewelry and watches, many of them unique.

For example, I found this set of interchangeable watches, called a cuff set, where you can just snap the watch into the desired watch cuff.

Of course, like any other place you shop, it is always buyer beware, but I have both shopped and sold on ebay was some success. One word of warning - double check shipping charges - that's about the only issue I have with some of the retailers there. I think some try to stick it to you when it comes to "handling" charged.
