Generally speaking, it was a good showing of jewelry for the night, more than I've seen in awhile. I especially noticed the matching of super long earrings and chunky cuff or large bracelets.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about: ali larter from the hit show Heroes. She's wearing 3 platinum and diamond bracelets and platinum and diamond earrings by Neil Lane (total $215,000). I think it works.
Reese Witherspoon opted for a hunk of a bracelet and large post earrings, but check out the bling on her toes.
Katherine Heigl was also on the bracelet and earring bandwagon, and again, added a little unexpected sparkle on her dress.

According to a press release I received from Platinum Guild International, many stars where choose to sparkle in this wonderful white metal:

Celebrities including Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives), Mario Lopez (Dancing with the Stars), Sharon Leal (Dreamgirls), Gregory Itzin (24), Rex Lee (Entourage), Perrey Reeves (Entourage), Tawny Cypress (Heroes), Phyllis Smith (The Office), Angela Kinsey (The Office), Kate Flannery (The Office), Brian Baumgartner (The Office), Leslie David Baker (The Office), Rick & Kathy Hilton, Monet Mazur (Monster-in-Law), A.J. Buckley (CSI: NY), Carmine Gio Vinazzo (CSI: NY), Jacqueline Mazeralla (Everybody Hates Chris), Amber Heard (Alpha Dog), Kate Linder (The Young & The Restless), and Brenda Dickson (The Young & The Restless) attended Platinum Guild International USA's Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Jewelry Preview at the Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive where they indulged in a complete Platinum experience.

they all need necklaces. i don't like the bare-necked look.

I think it depends. Sometimes women can be more attractive without necklaces that is if they have a nice neck.

Allen Iverson broke out his newest signature shoe, the Reebok Answer XII, during the first game between the Buy Reebok Answer XII Invictus Shoes in November 2008.
The Reebok Answer XII Invictus On Sale basketball shoe features a leather upper with internal mock bootie construction that provides maximum comfort.
The Nike zoom BB IIreceived its design cues from Japanese-born Reebok designer Nike Zoom BB II Basketball Shoes, who also designed the Answer X. Both Winfield and Kanata have been trading off between the past three Buy Cheap Nike Zoom BB II Men's Basketball shoes to allow for a longer design window and more attention to the development process. It could be argued that Iverson’s series lost its gusto during the VI to IX era. Luckily, for Iverson and his fans, the line has been in good hands the past three years.
The mid panel is also generously perforated for greater breathability and the Nike Shox Vc IV Men's Basketball Shoe Black suede toe sets off a nice balance to the simple yet sharp overall look.? The outsole features a sticky rubber wavy herringbone traction pattern and cushioning comes via DMX Ride.
