Golden Globe Glitz

Say what you will about Brad and Angelina, but they do make a striking couple at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Yeah to Ang for wearing some major gold jewelry here. She's definitely not shy about the pear shaped dangle earrings, matching necklace, and double strand gold bracelet.

Generally speaking, it was a good showing of jewelry for the night, more than I've seen in awhile. I especially noticed the matching of super long earrings and chunky cuff or large bracelets.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about: ali larter from the hit show Heroes. She's wearing 3 platinum and diamond bracelets and platinum and diamond earrings by Neil Lane (total $215,000). I think it works.


Reese Witherspoon opted for a hunk of a bracelet and large post earrings, but check out the bling on her toes.


Katherine Heigl was also on the bracelet and earring bandwagon, and again, added a little unexpected sparkle on her dress.

Buckley (CSI: NY), Carmine Gio Vinazzo (CSI: NY), Jacqueline Mazeralla (Everybody Hates Chris), Amber Heard (Alpha Dog), Kate Linder (The Young & The Restless), and Brenda Dickson (The Young & The Restless) attended Platinum Guild International USA's Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Jewelry Preview at the Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive where they indulged in a complete Platinum experience.
