Paper clay doesn't get enough recognition as a jewelry medium. I used it last summer to make some peacock jewelry, and the results were pretty terrific. It's lightweight, durable, and I like the options it presents vice polymer clay. The two links below were made with a combination of acrylic paint and goldleafing in addition to the peacock feathers.
