Jewelry Becomes Movie Stars

Scenery, costumes, and yes, jewelry are all important elements that make up the " reality" created by a movie. They help suspend our disbelief. As a jewelry fan, of course, I always pay special attention to jewelry worn by characters in movies. Recently, I watched the movie Tombstone, starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer, and it started me thinking about memorable movies and their jewelry.

I'll start with Tombstone. While the women aren't the main characters in this movie, so you don't get to see a great deal of them, when you do see them they are all wearing wonderful pieces of jewelry. Doc Holiday (Val Kilmer), for example, has a girlfriend who wears a beautiful black beaded choker links

. Wyatt Earp's (Kurt Russell) love interest is an actress/entertainer, so she is often shown wearing long drop earrings, similar to those pictured here from Antiquing Online.

The Reebok Answer XII Invictus On Sale basketball shoe features a leather upper with internal mock bootie construction that provides maximum comfort. The Nike zoom BB IIreceived its design cues from Japanese-born Reebok designer Nike Zoom BB II Basketball Shoes, who also designed the Answer X. Both Winfield and Kanata have been trading off between the past three Buy Cheap Nike Zoom BB II Men's Basketball shoes to allow for a longer design window and more attention to the development process. It could be argued that Iverson�s series lost its gusto during the VI to IX era. Luckily, for Iverson and his fans, the line has been in good hands the past three years. The mid panel is also generously perforated for greater breathability and the Nike Shox Vc IV Men's Basketball Shoe Black suede toe sets off a nice balance to the simple yet sharp overall look.? The outsole features a sticky rubber wavy herringbone traction pattern and cushioning comes via DMX Ride.
