Jewelry for the Lucky Ones

Very cute, very clever, and very trendy! Funny how I'm in the middle of writing a book about mixed media jewelry and we seem to see it all over the place now.

Accessories designer Meredith Miller is lucking out with her new line of PokerchipGirl jewelry.

I actually have a carved and etched disk that is mother-of-pearl and it's carved with pagodas and so forth on it - carved on both sides and bezel-set in 14K rope and it's called a "poker chip" - evidently was used at one time by the Japanese as a poker chip!
