Jewelry Thoughts for the Carnivale of Couture
The Fashionable Kiffen is hosting this round of the Carnivale of Couture, and her question is -

What item/style/look do you wish would become a trend? Or what trend from the past would you like to resurrect?

I'm going to date myself here, but with all the great mixed media jewelry I've seen becoming popular lately, I can't help but reminisce about my days as a flower child when I was the Queen of Macramé. Back in the 70s, the use of fiber and natural materials like shells and wood were very popular, and while I've started to see that return a little, I still am waiting for some full-blown macramé to come back, but maybe with a new 21st century twist.

Pictured are some macramé and fiber pieces from artist Joan Babcock.
