Jewelry Video Vendors

- very frustrating at times.Video may be one way to help give consumers a better virtual shopping experience. A few companies are hoping this is the case, but I have to say that after looking at them, I think they still have some tweaking to do.
Here are a few companies that now have video on their web sites that allow you to get a better look at some of the jewelry they sell:

I took a look at some of the videos on these sites, and I cant' say that I felt it made much of a difference with my overall shopping experience. The camera is used to allow a view of the entire piece from all angles, but there are no hands or people wearing the piece to provide any kind of reference. Therefore, it's still difficult to get an idea of the size. Also, there's no sound, which seemed weird. I think this is a great idea, but it does need some work.
