Finally, W magazine's jewelry issue is here! You can fill out a form on-line to get a free copy, but I warn you. I did this months and months and months ago, and I just got a copy so I'm not sure if you'd get this exact copy for fall 2006 or have to wait until next season's issue.

I think I'd play it safe and look for it on newstands just to make sure. I also have a W Magazine Subscription, so maybe I would have gotten one any way. Any know what the deal is with this special issue? Do subscribers normally get one?

Here's a quick overview of what you'll find inside:

• Charms are in, still in fact seeing a lot of pirate booty themes.
• Those circles are still around, both via necklaces and earrings.
• They have a fine jewelry "what's hot" listing.
• Watches also get some coverage.
• Along with circles and links, this means long necklaces are sticking around for awhile.
