I got this really cool catalog in the mail from A.G.A Correa & Son. The company is based in Edgecomb, Maine, and they have some of most unique " knot-style" jewelry I've ever seen. Actually, I take that back. I do know of a really talented jewelry artist named Loren Damewood who also makes this kind of jewelry. His operation isn't as large as A.G.A., but he also has a similar technique. Both adapt knotting techniques used by sailors, and instead of knotting rope, they use wire to weave and knot into jewelry. The earrings pictured are from A.G.A, and are made of 14kt gold. They are called " Lovers Knot Earrings."
