By combining unique techniques in non-traditional ways, she creates signature collections rich in texture, detail, and unmistakably Lois Hill. Utilizing the prehistoric method of hand carving with hammer and chisel, Lois Hill elegantly carves sterling silver on an organic mixture of tree sap and wax. The most primitive of tools can yield the most sophisticated of designs.

Hand weaving sterling silver is Hill's other favorite technique. She studied weaving techniques from around the world, and began incorporating textile weaves into her line. Some weaves are so intricate that only one or two inches can be woven per day. The results are tactile, flexible, textile-like bracelets that are amazing against the skin in addition to being incredible works of art.
