Medical IDs Get Fashionable
Medical ID bracelets save lives. I've got a few friends who are diabetic and have to wear one of these.

One friend, who drives me and his other friends nuts because he slips now and then when it comes to eating right, has actually had situations where he's passed out and someone (a stranger off the street) has found him. Luckily, he at least has sense enough to wear a medical alert tag around his neck, though I think he should also wear a bracelet because those are easier to see right away.

About a year ago, he was leaving for a trip over seas and a few of us went in on a bracelet ID for him because we were concerned they might think he was just drunk or something if he started having one of his episodes. And, let me tell you, it was one ugly bracelet!

Now, thanks to the team of Julia van Hees-Aidner and James Martin who worked together to create a line of attractive medical ID jewelry available on their web site at Jewels et Jim.
