The jewelry industry has been behind when it comes to the blogosphere. Think about it. How many blogs (other than this one) do you know that are dedicated to jewelry - exclusively to jewelry?

I know a lot of other blogs cover accessories and fashion, which of course includes jewelry, but really, there's aren't a ton of jewelry blogs when compared to general fashion blogs.

I'm happy to say this is starting to change, though, the a new addition to the jewelry blogosphere - Modern Jeweler Web Wise. Long known for an outstanding magazine and web site, I'm very happy to welcome them into the blog world of jewelry.

Right now they have categories on Celebrity Style; Consumer Pulse; Fashion and Trends; Online Marketing; and Reference Resources.

Granted, Modern Jeweler is more geared toward the jewelry professional rather than the jewelry consumer, but I think even jewelry buyers will find a lot of great information on this blog in the coming months.
