National Jeweler has more on the up coming Academy Awards. In particular, I'm dying to see this amethyst necklace they describe:

Keira is a gorgeous girl, and I wonder if she will wear it or if she just inspired it? Sounds a little unclear here.

I'm very happy to read that we may see more colored stones. It's about time we saw a little more color on the red carpet. Diamonds aren't the only stones you can use in eye-popping jewelry designs! Hello!
