I was surfing around looking for some good jewelry finds (as usual) and I found this picture of Paris Hilton on the Mouawad.com site. I thought about how weird it was that here she is - obviously posing - casually wearing a chunky bracelet on one arm, watch on the other, and then dangling from her jean's pocket are a few chains with dangling cross pendants.

Only a few days ago she traded in her high-end bracelets for prison issue cuffs. I have never been a fan of any kind of this girl (though at 26 she is hardly that any more I guess), but hopefully, she's learn something from this life lesson. Out of some weird curiosity I've been keeping tabs on this story, and she is at least claiming to have changed in this recent interview:

The reality TV star and relentless publicity-seeker spoke with Barbara Walters by phone Sunday, a day after releasing a statement saying she hoped the media would focus on "more important things" than her 45-day jail sentence, according to ABC News' Web site.

"I used to act dumb. ... That act is no longer cute," ABC quoted Hilton as saying. [...]

Hilton has been saying that she is changed by her jailhouse experience, and she repeated that theme with Walters: "Now, I would like to make a difference. ... God has given me this new chance."

So, what do you think? A new Paris Hilton? Or an old line of you-know-what?
