They have some nice stuff as well as some cheaply made stuff. ($$$$ = good, $ = cheap) Many times TJ Maxx and Marshall's will have EXACTLY the same items for 20% - 40% less. (Most recent example - gold pendant for $44+ on qvc ["$70 comparative retail price"] + $4.47 shipping but $29.99 ["45.00 comparative retail price"] at TJ's. 'Compared 'em and sent the TV stuff back.) They should be ashamed of themselves. If they're going to sell something at retail, then tell the customer it's at retail. Don't try to dupe her/him into thinking they're getting a good deal and don't raise the "comparative price". 'Just calculate the price per gram for their gold - you'll find out how expensive most of it really is. Remember, they have a "captive audience" of people, most of whom are impulse buyers and are very naive about what they're buying. And, those "good deals" need to cover air time, studio, equipment, hosts' and call center salaries, etc.
