Sapphire Gemstones for September

Can you believe the month of September has come and is now going so soon? Before it ends, I thought I'd pay some tribute to the birthstone for those born during September - Sapphires. Here is a little information about this beautiful links

gemstone and a few links if you'd like to find out even more:

They are most often mined in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Northern India, Australia, Brazil, and North America
Popular sapphire gemstones are usually blue - a beautiful deep blue like the sea - but they are also available in green, yellow, and purple-black.
The blue color of sapphires comes from traces of iron and titanium in the stone.
Folklore connected to sapphires state this stone symbolizes faith, and the blue color represents the sky as well as loyalty and friendship.
