Time for Prom Jewelry

. Which I have to say, now that I'm an old lady, I think is much more appropriate. Plus, it's a chance for young girls to dress up almost like they were brides:Suzie Orol, one half of the jewelry designing duo at Foxy Originals, said earrings are huge - literally - this year. And don't skimp on the necklace either.
'"The more bling, the better ... the bigger, the better. Right now it is all about big jewelry,'" she said, adding that if she was going to a prom she would wear two necklaces and a pair of big earrings.
If the dress has lots of details on the bodice - ribbons, lace or an empire waist - some girls may want to drop the necklace and wear only big earrings that make a statement.
For a sweeter, more conservative prom look, Orol said delicate earrings and a matching necklace in a colour to complement the dress will do the trick.
'"But the real fashion-forward girl will go for the bigger earrings with the big necklace."

Pictured are a few prom earring and necklace sets from Bridal Express. I found most of their jewelry very reasonable, which is probably a good thing for the average high school girl's pocket book, especially after she probably shells out some major bucks for her dress.
