Sisters Satu and Celeste Greenberg were born in San Francisco and raised in a rural northern California town, Seiad Valley, CA (population 350), which inspired them to create their own clothing and accessories. They eventually made their way to New York City, where they developed their own jewelry line, Tuleste Market. It's very important for Satu and Celeste to design pieces that were accessible to everyone, priced moderately with modern designs that can link together, layer, and be worn many different ways, getting multiple looks out of one piece of jewelry.

The current Tuleste Market jewelry collection was inspired by women of all ages and lifestyles. New designer pieces and vintage thrift store finds inspire them to make something old look new again. Additional sources of inspiration are women in films that have an intriguing timeless quality, as those from director's Michelangelo Antonioni and Jean Luc Goddard. The fashions mirror their family during their childhood from The Monterey Pop Festival, friends, and the diversity of living in New York.
