Everyone wants their wedding ring to be different, unique, a one and only piece of jewelry that symbolizes your special relationship. More and more jewelry companies these days are offering ways for brides and grooms to design their own rings. Heck, remember all the hoopla over Brat Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's rings that were later copied all over the place. Maybe that was a sign that their relationship was not all that special or maybe it is just inevitable.

But critics question the chances of an engagement ring being one-of-a-kind forever. Brad Pitt and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston filed a $50 million lawsuit against a jewelry designer that began selling imitations of their wedding bands, which were supposedly "one of a kind." Eventually the case was settled out of court.
