Handcrafted Gemstone Jewelry
Wendy Mahr Jewelry offers clean, modern design, unique pieces, and they're very careful in their construction. What does that mean? No rough edges, or jewelry that falls apart after one wear. That also means, it's not the least expensive jewelry you can buy, but for the price, you're getting great design, unique handmade pieces and excellent craftsmanship.
Bold Crystal Necklace
Large links of Sterling Silver oval chain (12.4mm) accented with a large crystal quartz pendant. All stones are slightly different and unique, the one shown is 1-1/8″ from top to bottom. The chain hangs down 18-3/4″.
$110
Wendy Mahr Jewelry is either Gold-filled, Sterling Silver (.925), or Fine Silver (.999). They like to use Fine Silver wire for their necklaces as it is more pure than Sterling, so it doesn't tarnish as easily. They use pearls, semiprecious gemstones, and all sorts of shell and beads.
Small Grey Pearl Ring
Chunky dark grey pearl with wraps of fine and sterling silver. Not too big, not too small.
$75
Wendy creates jewelry - earrings, necklaces, and bracelets - using clear quartz crystals and sterling silver wire. Her work is at once simple and bold, elegant and edgy. Wendy has recently added teaching classes and volunteer work to her busy schedule.
Clear Crystal Bracelet
Large faceted chunks of quartz crystal with fine and sterling silver become a fashion statement on your wrist! Goes with everything and anything.
$75
Until recently, Wendy enjoyed working as a corporate sales representative, but desired a creative outlet. She started making jewelry for fun at first, and her friends and family encouraged her to start selling some of her designs. Wendy has spent the last seven years growing her business, and selling to boutiques and galleries across the country.
Artist Statement
I left the traditional corporate jobs behind, but brought all of the experience and knowledge with me to start my own corporation six years ago. I love what I do, and I pour all of my enthusiasm into each piece.
We are looking forward to also starting our own non-profit organization to work raising children's self-esteem through arts. The volunteer work we've done has always been the most rewarding part of what we do. Just spending quality time with children, and helping them create something beautiful that they didn't know they could do, and having that quality interaction means a lot to them and us.

Beautiful jewelry. I too love working with clear quartz and clear crystal. Although I prefer a little bit more of a challenge in my beaded necklace designs, than just a drop on a chain.
