Where is Jewelry on Your Shopping List?

Is jewelry at the top or the bottom of your holiday gift list this year? Some retailers are worried that you've got it too low on the list.
Per an article posted on Reuters: " High oil prices and the lack of a "must-have" bling
gift item may combine to dull this year's finish for some jewelry retailers, industry analysts say. [...] After polling people on what holiday gifts they planned to give, Britt Beemer, chief executive of consumer trend tracking firm America's Research Group, said jewelry was lower down on shopping lists this year, especially among consumers of luxury brands. "The only thing helping jewelry this year is that corporate Christmas parties will still be strong, and a lot of jewelry gets bought for those occasions," said Beemer."

Even with all this, some are still buying jewelry gifts this year. Some of the standout holiday jewelry items this season include:
- Watches with diamond or rhinestone bezels
- Engagement rings and wedding bands
- Multi-strand and very long necklaces in jet (black) and metallic
