World’s Longest Necklace

"Lynn Toomey-Marinchev, the co-owner of Artzzone in Fitchburg, got the idea to craft the world's longest necklace when an employee brought 18 gallons of plastic beads
to the store. The beads belonged to the employee's mother, who gave them to Artzzone. [...]The necklace will be about 3,600 feet long when it is finished, and will be hung up around the edges of every room in the three-story building, Toomey-Marinchev said.
Patrons of the store will be asked whether they want to add beads to the necklace until it is finished. Toomey-Marinchev said contributors may also make a $1 donation to the Missing and Exploited Children's Fund."
