The world of Twilight is expanding exponentially (whether we like it or not). It was only a matter of time before jewelry designers banked on the growing trend. Regardless of the series' popularity, the jewelry is definitely a beauty in its own.

With the gothic-inspired style, the Twlight Chandelier Earrings give off a sophisticated vibe. Geared more towards a formal look, the blood red swarovski crystals emit a very sexy persona, smoothed down by the delicate sterling silver wire. The draped chandelier look adds an air of elegance to a neat updo, or flashes a bit of mystery when concealed within the hair.

The earrings go for about $45 through many of the Twilight Fansites and come in many variations. Also available are necklaces, bracelets, and movie replicas.

Bracelets for Boobies

Filed in archive Bracelets on April 22, 2010

In honor of all the strong women out there battling breast cancer, a Christina Applegate inspired bracelet has been crafted to remind us of the struggle of these beautiful women. The bracelet is sterling silver interwoven with pink suede and is fitted with a pink enamel ribbon charm as well as a heart which reads "Together we can make a difference".

It's delicate appearance creates a beautiful piece of jewelry that will not only accent a casual outfit, it also serves a purpose. 25% of the proceeds received by Emitations Jewelry will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

You can snag your very own Silver Breast Cancer bracelet from Emitations for $24.99 and help the cause. The price isn't bad for sterling silver and it truly is a pretty bracelet.

The Classic Gold Chain

The Classic Gold Chain
© 2010

The classic gold chain has become de rigueur in the fashion world. Nearly everything I wear requires some kind of necklace and, as accessories go, the gold chain is the most flexible thing in my jewelry box.

The only problem for me is finding the right one. I have several imperfect models including one that tangles up because it's too delicate and one from a flea market that borders on gaudy.

What I need is a nice, classic gold chain. And I'm sure I can have one too, for a mere $300.00. The only trouble is that this week I'm not in the mood to spend, so I'll have to make due with the $135.00 version I found at the Metropolitan Museum Store.

Their Spanish Openwork Necklace is 36" long. It's temporarily backordered (that never deters me: I can exercise patience when required), I hope due to popularity, because I think it's a classic.

Citrine Drops Unearthed

Citrine Drops Unearthed

Random finds on the web always excite me. It is the dream of every blogger to find the undiscovered site with a trove of cool items.

I was trolling for said mystery-website when I came across Amber Marie Bently, one of those mysterious and severely overpriced websites that stay in business despite all odds.

I was looking for a gold cuff. It has become an obsession of mine to find and own one, but they are shockingly expensive. I suppose with gold prices being what they are these days, I shouldn't be surprised. Nonetheless, when I see four-figures attached to a plain cuff, my jaw gets bruised from hitting the floor.

Anyway, Amber Marie Bently makes a $5624.00 solid flower gold cuff, and they also make these lovely citrine drops for the much more reasonable price of $200.00.

I think they're beautiful. Hope you agree!

Cocktail Ring Heaven

Cocktail Ring Heaven

Big rings are in and I love them. They bring any outfit to life, and add something fun to even the most boring jeans and simple shirt.

Having a cocktail ring for every outfit would be fantastic, but of course stones are expensive - especially large ones.

Stefano Patriarchi makes a gorgeous golden sterling silver ring that will go with everything. The band is adjustable so it will fit most fingers.

My gold standard (no pun intended) for any piece of jewelry is finding something that goes as well with jeans as it does with dress pants. I'm a day-to-evening kind of girl. And this ring is perfect for that.

Patriarchi has a whole collection in the same style as the ring, which can be seen on his website. He's all about simplicity, which in itself is special when so many designs lately are over-embellished.

For something that's not real gold, $258.00 is a bit pricey, but if you factor in that the ring will be worn every day (or it would by me, at least), it's a winner!
